Brutality Unleashed: Helpless Animal Beaten to Death, Body Dragged Through Streets

Bhiwani (The Uttam Hindu): Due to old enmity, three youths brutally beat a dog to death with sticks. This incident took place in Bhiwani, Haryana and its video has gone viral on social media. After the dog's owner lodged a complaint with the police, a case has been registered against three-four people including the named accused under various sections.

The police took action on Friday and excavated the dog's body from the ground and got it post-mortem done. This incident is of February 12. Anita Gupta, a resident of New Bharat Nagar, told the police that there was a dog living in her street, which she had been keeping in her house for the last four-five months. On the morning of February 12, three-four youths came in front of her house on a motorcycle and asked her to tie the dog so that they could "talk" to it.

Anita Gupta said that as soon as she chained the dog, the youths attacked it with sticks and rods, due to which the dog died on the spot. Anita further said that the accused opened the chain of the dog with the intention of disposing of its body and dragged it away by holding the leash. Anita pleaded with them to stop and not kill the dog, but they did not listen to her. Many people present in the street also made a video of this cruel incident, which is now becoming increasingly viral on the Internet.

After receiving the complaint, ASI Iqbal Singh from Industrial Police Station area reached the spot. The dog's body was recovered by digging the soil at the place mentioned by the complainant and the people of the street. After this, a team of veterinarians was called and the dog's body was post-mortemed. ASI Iqbal Singh said that on the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered against one named and other unknown accused under various sections and the police is investigating the matter seriously.
