Bhopal (The Uttam Hindu): A tragic incident occurred in the capital of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal where a 2-year-old child met a painful death after falling into a pot of hot oil during an engagement ceremony. The child, Akshansh Sahu was playing around when he accidentally fell into the boiling oil and despite being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.

The incident took place in the Nishatpura police station area, where an engagement ceremony was in progress. The child, while playing came too close to a pot of hot oil. Before anyone could react, he fell into the scalding oil. Akshansh’s father, who was standing nearby, witnessed the horrifying scene and rushed to the child’s aid. He quickly pulled the child out of the hot oil and took him to a private hospital for treatment. However, despite all efforts the child was unable to survive and passed away during treatment.

According to family members, the engagement ceremony was being held for Akshansh's uncle and the family was busy celebrating when this unfortunate accident occurred. The mood of the house turned sorrowful with the tragic death of the young child. No one at the ceremony was able to understand how the child fell into the boiling oil and the incident is being viewed as a result of sheer negligence. The death of the child has left the family and acquaintances devastated with many trying to console the grieving parents. The tragic loss has caused immense sorrow to Akshansh’s parents who are inconsolable.
