New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The Saurabh Rajput murder case in Meerut, UP has shaken the entire country. The brutality with which Saurabh was killed by his wife Muskan and her lover Sahil has shamed humanity. Both are in the clutches of the law, people are angry. People everywhere are raising questions whether the punishment for this cruelty will be death, life imprisonment or will Muskan and Sahil be released on bail in legal maneuvers?

Supreme court lawyer Neeraj Kumar told what could be the outcome of this murder in the eyes of the law. Advocate Neeraj Kumar shed light on the legal aspects of the case and said that some important events have come to light in this case, which will determine the direction of the investigation. He said that the police investigation has revealed that money was transferred to Muskan's stepmother's account. This fact can prove to be important for the investigation, but a big problem in this whole case is that there is no eyewitness.

According to Neeraj Kumar, this case will completely depend on the police investigation and the FSL report. He said that the FSL report will see what conclusions are drawn about the drum in which Saurabh's body was packed with cement. This report will play an important role in this case, because without a witness, further action will have to be taken only on the report.

Raising questions on the possibility of Muskan and Sahil getting bail at the moment, Neeraj Kumar said that this case is of the 'rare of the rarest' category and it is not possible to get bail in it. The charges are very serious, and both will have to remain in jail until the trial is completed. He clarified that in my opinion it is impossible for both to get bail.

He further said that there is no possibility of getting death penalty in this case, because no woman has been given death penalty in India till now. Even one of the assassins of Rajiv Gandhi was sentenced to death, but later she was also pardoned. Neeraj Kumar said that according to whatever has come to light so far, Muskaan is the main accused, because she had hatched the entire conspiracy. Sahil will be considered a co-accused, his role is not that important. In the Indian judicial system, the punishment is not decided on the basis of a person's gender, caste or religion, so both will get equal punishment.

Neeraj Kumar threw light on the method of murder and said that a lot depends on the FSL report. The method of murder was such that a single person could not have committed this murder. Two or more people could be involved in this. Many more aspects can also come to light in this.

How much punishment will Muskaan and Sahil get from the court? In response to this question, Neeraj Kumar said that the most likely punishment is life imprisonment. However, it all depends on the FSL report and the police investigation. If the investigation is completely correct, then life imprisonment can be the punishment. Apart from this, he also said that if this does not happen then both of them can also get bail after the trial. The FSL report and the police investigation are very important in this case because there is no eyewitness in this case.
