Tragedy Strikes on NH-48: 8 Dead, 6 Injured in Horrific Roadways Bus-Car Collision

Jaipur (The Uttam Hindu): A tragic road accident has been reported near Mokhampura on NH-48 in Dudu, Jaipur, Rajasthan. According to the information, a tire of a roadways bus burst, causing the out-of-control bus to collide with a car, resulting in the death of 8 people and injuring more than 6 others. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

Reports indicate that the roadways bus was traveling from Jaipur to Ajmer, and an Eco car was traveling nearby. Suddenly, the tire of the roadways bus burst, and the bus crashed into the Eco car. As a result of the accident, 8 people traveling in the Eco car lost their lives. All the passengers in the car were from Bhilwara. The car was completely destroyed during the accident.

SP Anand Kumar Sharma stated that the Eco car was severely crushed by the bus’s impact, and all 8 people inside the car died on the spot. Following the accident, there was a brief traffic jam. The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem, and the police are investigating the incident.
