Kolkata (The Uttam Hindu) - Addressing a public meeting during his 10-day Bengal tour, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat said that Hindu society believes that diversity is contained in unity.

The aim of the Sangh is only to unite the Hindu society. Addressing the volunteers in Burdwan, he said that today is not a special day, yet the workers are sitting in such heat since morning, why? What does the Sangh want to do? If this question has to be answered in one sentence, then the Sangh wants to unite the entire Hindu society. Why does the Hindu society have to be united? Because the society responsible for this country is the Hindu society… India has a nature and those who thought that they cannot live with that nature, they made their own separate country… Hindus move forward by accepting the diversity of the world.

He said that people have a habit of making a circle of their own and keeping others out of it but a Sangh volunteer keeps expanding his circle. Sangh volunteers practice this. This does not happen only with thoughts, they come to the branch every day and mingle with each other, work together. This idea gets strengthened by this.
