New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The winter session of Parliament is going to end today. Even before the proceedings of Parliament started today, a battle between the ruling and opposition parties is being seen outside the premises. BJP MPs are protesting against Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party near the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. At the same time, opposition MPs are marching towards Parliament from the Chowk. On the other hand, as soon as the proceedings of the Lok Sabha began today, the opposition MPs started sloganeering. Seeing the sloganeering, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla adjourned the proceedings of the House indefinitely. At the same time, the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha have been adjourned till 12 o'clock.
On the last day of the winter session, BJP is on the offensive regarding the scuffle that happened in the Parliament yesterday. At the same time, Congress has also accused BJP MPs of scuffle. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has given a notice of breach of privilege against opposition leader Rahul Gandhi. The BJP MP said that Rahul has also insulted the House.
The notice sent to Om Birla said that Amit Shah's statement has been distorted. The BJP leader said that the matter should be sent to the Privileges Committee and Rahul Gandhi should be suspended from the Lok Sabha until the decision is taken.
