IT Raids Congress MLA Rana Gurjeet’s House; Employees’ Phones Switched Off, ITBP Deployed

Kapurthala (The Uttam Hindu): Big news is coming from Kapurthala, Punjab where the Income Tax Department has raided the house of Congress MLA Rana Gurjit Singh. According to the information, the Income Tax Department team from Chandigarh raided the MLA's residence on Circular Road on Thursday morning.

IT raids the house of Congress MLA Rana Gurjit, phones of employees switched off; ITBP personnel also present: Indo-Tibetan Border Police personnel are also present along with the Income Tax Department team. During the raid, all the gates of the residence were locked from inside. Punjab Police was also not informed about this. During the investigation, the mobile phones of all the employees of the MLA's office were found switched off. No official statement has been issued about the case in which this action has been taken.
