Indiscriminate Firing in Patna: Miscreants Storm House, Police Operation Underway
Patna (The Uttam Hindu): Four criminals entered a nearby house while firing in Ramlakhan Path of Kankarbagh police station area. An encounter took place between the criminals and the police in the area on Tuesday afternoon. Police from many police stations including STF reached the spot. After this, seeing themselves surrounded, the criminals entered a house.
According to the information, criminals fired several rounds at the police from a private house with a pistol. After this, the police personnel surrounded the entire house and armed commandos and police personnel surrounded the criminals and asked them to surrender. After the information, a team of armed commandos also reached. They entered the building with bullet proof jackets. Patna SSP Avkash Kumar also reached the spot. Along with this, many other senior officers and police teams were engaged in controlling the situation. After the criminals entered the house, the police also became very alert, so that due to being a residential area, there is no harm to the common people and the criminals are caught before any major action. The security of the entire area has also been increased. It is being said that three to four criminals are hiding. The police has cordoned off all the streets connected to the house, so that the criminals are not able to escape from anywhere. Also, policemen are deployed with weapons at all the entrances. At present, information has been received about the arrest of two criminals.
Seeing the situation, the police also retaliated and surrounded the criminals inside a room. On receiving the information, all the senior police officers also reached the spot. According to the information received from the police, the house in which the criminals have entered belongs to a person named Upendra Singh. According to the police, the four criminals entered this house with the intention of robbery, but people became alert in time and these criminals were surrounded inside the house.
