India Criticizes Pakistan for 'Unjustified' Reference to Jammu and Kashmir at UNGA.

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): India has strongly criticized Pakistan for its "unjustified" reference to Jammu and Kashmir during a recent UN General Assembly meeting. India’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador P Harish, responded sharply to Pakistan's remarks, asserting that such references would neither validate Pakistan's claim over the region nor justify its practice of cross-border terrorism.
During an informal meeting to commemorate the International Day to Combat Islamophobia, Pakistan's former foreign secretary, Tehmina Janjua, made references to Jammu and Kashmir, which prompted a strong rebuke from India. Ambassador Harish emphasized that Pakistan’s repeated attempts to bring up the issue of Jammu and Kashmir were futile, stating that "these efforts will not change the reality that Jammu and Kashmir was, is and will always be an integral part of India."
Harish also condemned Pakistan’s actions, labeling its "fanatical mindset" and record of bigotry, asserting that such remarks could not alter the established truth. He made it clear that these actions would not deter India’s stance on the matter.
