Haryana’s 2025 Budget: 50 Lakh Jobs, AI Mission and Increased Support for Farmers
Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): Haryana CM and Finance Minister Naib Singh Saini has presented the state budget. Naib Saini has made several announcements in the budget. CM Saini said that we will work on creating 50 lakh new jobs in the state. He said that a total of 11 thousand suggestions were received regarding the budget, for which every section has been taken into consideration in the budget. This time a budget of two lakh 5 thousand 17 crores has been presented. This is 13.7 percent more than last year.
*CM Saini proposed to set up Mera Sankalp Authority to fight against drug abuse and to save people from drug abuse. An initial allocation of Rs 10 crore will be made for this authority.
*A proposal has been made to establish Haryana AI Mission in which the World Bank has assured to provide assistance of Rs 474 crore. Hubs will be set up in Gurgaon and Panchkula by this AI mission.
*A new department named Department of Future will be formed in Haryana. CM Naib Saini announced this in his budget speech.
*To promote startups, Haryana government will encourage private investors to create a fund of funds of Rs 2,000 crore.
*All departments of the state have been directed to close down useless schemes
*'No loan for farmers up to Rs 1 lakh loan'
*Now the subsidy amount on buying a Desi cow is Rs. 30000 instead of Rs. 25000
*Proposal to build a flower market for the purchase of flowers in Gurugram
*The biggest market will be built in Gohana, Haryana, good facilities will be provided to the farmers
*In the budget, there is a provision of Rs 5 crore to provide 1 e-rickshaw to cow shelters having up to 1000 animals and 2 e-rickshaws to cow shelters having more than 1000 animals.
*Provision of Rs 1200 per acre for stubble management
*Under the Mera Pani, Meri Virasat scheme, farmers' subsidy was increased to Rs 8000.
*1 lakh acre land target for natural farming
*Women farmers who take loan up to Rs 1 lakh to set up a dairy will get interest-free loan.
