Ranchi (The Uttam Hindu): Former Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) has been issued a notice by the Jharkhand High Court in connection with a fraud case. On November 12, Dhoni received the notice, instructing him to present his side in the ongoing case. The case stems from a complaint Dhoni filed on January 5 against his former business partners and investors in Arka Sports and Management Limited, Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Das. Dhoni has accused them of misusing his name and committing fraud amounting to Rs 15 crore.

The hearing took place in the court of Justice Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi. After the hearing, the court directed that a notice be sent to Dhoni, requiring him to appear and present his side of the case. Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Das, who were not only Dhoni’s business partners but also his close friends, have filed a counter-petition against his complaint. This petition was also heard during the same session on November 12. The case continues to unfold, with both sides presenting their arguments before the court.
