Deputy Commissioner of Police (South-East) Ravi Kumar Singh said, “During our operation, we identified more than 1,000 individuals and arrested two people from Kalindi Kunj and Hazrat Nizamuddin areas.” The police initiated the operation to identify Bangladeshis living illegally in the city on Wednesday, a day after the Lieutenant Governor ordered action against such individuals.

According to the police, these individuals (Bangladeshi nationals) were living in the national capital without valid documents. The arrested individuals were identified as Abdul Ahad (22) and Mohammad Azizul (32), who were captured by the Hazrat Nizamuddin police team on December 10 and 12, respectively.
