Colonel Bath Assault Case: SIT Launches Investigation, Issues Helpline Number for Witnesses

Patiala (The Uttam Hindu): In the case of assault on Colonel Pushpinder Singh Bath and his son Angad, the victim's family today reached Chief Minister Mann's residence in Chandigarh to meet him. Earlier, the family had also met Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. A press conference has been held by the Special Investigation Team formed in this case. During this time, the officials have appealed to the people to give information. They say that if anyone has any information about this matter, then give it to them. The officials have also issued a helpline number to give information. Meanwhile, Head ADGP AS Rai visited the spot on Monday. Apart from SSP Sandeep Malik, SP Manpreet Singh was also present at the spot with him.
After inspecting the spot, ADGP Rai has given an open invitation to those who want to join as witnesses and give information about this incident. Meanwhile, Colonel Pushpinder's wife Jaswinder Kaur reached Chandigarh on Monday to meet Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann along with the farmers. ADGP Rai said that a number 7508300342 has also been issued for contacting, on which people can contact and give information about the incident. ADGP said that after reaching Patiala again on April 2, the SIT will question every person related to the case. In which everyone from the Dhaba owner to the SSP will be questioned.
