OPPO Launches F29 Series in India with Emphasis on Durability

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Chinese smartphone brand OPPO has unveiled the F29 series in India, highlighting durability as a key feature. The series includes two models—OPPO F29 5G and OPPO F29 Pro 5G—both boasting triple IP ratings (IP66, IP68, and IP69) for enhanced protection against dust and water. The smartphones also feature a "360-degree Armour Body" design, which OPPO claims increases drop resistance.

F29 Pro 5G:

OPPO F29 Series: Availability and Offers

The OPPO F29 Pro will be available in India starting April 1 through OPPO’s E-store, e-commerce platforms Amazon and Flipkart, and select retail outlets. The F29 5G will go on sale from March 27. Customers can enjoy a bank cashback of 10 percent on select bank cards (SBI, HDFC, Axis, Bank of Baroda, and IDFC Bank) as part of the introductory offer. Additionally, there is an up to 10 percent exchange bonus on trade-in deals, and no-interest EMI plans are available for up to six months.

OPPO F29 Series: Durability Features

OPPO has focused significantly on durability with the F29 series. The IP69 rating ensures the smartphones can withstand high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. The IP68 rating means the devices can survive submersion in 1.5 metres of water for up to 30 minutes. The series also includes 360-degree Armour Body technology, featuring "Sponge Bionic Cushioning" to absorb shocks and enhance drop resistance. The devices come with an AM04 aluminium alloy frame and are MIL-STD-810H-2022 certified, ensuring durability in extreme conditions.
