Shri Madan Lal Khurana Memorial Kamal cricket league kicks off, honoring Late CM's Legacy
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The fourth Shri Madan Lal Khurana Memorial Kamal Cricket League began at the play ground of Modern Public School, Shalimar Bagh in Delhi. This cricket league is being organized for the fourth year in memory of former Delhi Chief Minister Late Madan Lal Khurana. In the match played on the first day, Dhamaka XI team defeated Naveen XI team by 5 wickets. Dhamaka XI won the toss and decided to field. Naveen XI, batting first, was all out for 87 runs in 13.2 overs. In reply, Dhamaka XI achieved the target by losing five wickets in 11.5 overs. In the inaugural session on the first day, BJP MP from Chandni Chowk Praveen Khandelwal, BJP Keshavpuram District President Dr. Virendra Goyal, National Vice President of BJP Mahila Morcha and Municipal Councilor of Shalimar Bagh Rekha Gupta, Principal of Modern Public School Alka Kapoor, late Madan Lal Khurana's wife Mrs. Raj Khurana paid tributes.
