Sunil Jakhar Raises Concerns Over Broken Seats in IndiGo Airlines, Urges DGCA to Take Strict Action

Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): Sunil Jakhar took to social media to highlight the issue of broken seats on an IndiGo Airlines flight, stressing that it should not be ignored by the airline. He also called on the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to take stringent action. This follows a similar concern raised by Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan about broken seats on Air India.
In his post, Jakhar shared photos from a Chandigarh-Delhi IndiGo flight on January 27, showing seats with loose pillows and poor condition, which he believes violates safety standards. He mentioned that the cabin crew was unable to address the issue and suggested he file a complaint on the airline’s website. While not concerned about the comfort of the seats, Jakhar expressed that the casual attitude of airlines, characterized by the "chalta hai" mindset, is unacceptable, particularly when it comes to safety.estioning.
