Punjab Police Uncovers Narco-Terror Module, Arrests 4 and Seizes 4kg Heroin in Amritsar

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): In a significant operation led by the Counter Intelligence team of Amritsar, a narcotics-terror module was uncovered, resulting in the arrest of four individuals and the recovery of 4 kilograms of heroin. This major bust follows a series of intelligence-led operations targeting organized crime.
The arrested individuals, whose names have been identified, are:
1. Navjot Singh alias Sahil, resident of Tarn Taran Road, Amritsar
2. Sukhwinder Singh, resident of Tarn Taran Road, Amritsar
3. Gurpreet Singh, resident of Village Sheron, Tarn Taran
4. Aniket, son of Rajpal, resident of Krishna Mandir, Naranggarh, Amritsar
An FIR has been filed under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at the PS State Special Operations Cell (SSOC) in Amritsar. As investigations continue, authorities are working to uncover the broader network and connections tied to this narcotics operation.
