Punjab Police Announces Reward for Information on Missing Girl and Boy; Case Will Shock You

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A shocking case has emerged from Birampur village in Garhshankar, where a 22-year-old woman, Simi alias Shama, has been missing for nearly two years. According to Mohammad Rana, a resident of Birampur, his daughter went missing during a wedding in the village in March 2023. Despite various efforts to locate her, she has not been found. In light of the ongoing search, the Garhshankar police station has announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for any information leading to her whereabouts. The case has raised concerns, with rumours suggesting that the disappearance might be linked to love affairs.
Mohammad Rana, a resident of Birampur village, has reported that not only his daughter, Simi alias Shama, but also a young man from the village, Bittu (25), son of Safi alias Saif Ali, has gone missing. Both disappeared under mysterious circumstances, and Rana has appealed to the police and the public for help in locating them. A reward of Rs 50,000 has been announced for anyone who provides information about their whereabouts.
In response, A.S.I. Ravish Kumar from Garhshankar Police Station confirmed that a case has been registered based on Mohammad Rana's statement. Posters have been put up in various locations in an effort to locate Simi and Bittu. Kumar also revealed that during the investigation, it was discovered that the two were involved in a love affair. Authorities are continuing their efforts to trace the missing individuals.
