Punjab Government Invites Applications for Chairman of Punjab Public Service Commission

Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu):The Government of Punjab has called for applications from highly qualified and experienced individuals with strong integrity to fill the vacant position of Chairman of the Punjab Public Service Commission, Patiala.

An official spokesperson for the Punjab Government shared that, according to the eligibility criteria, applicants must have served for at least 10 years in a government position either under the Government of India or a State Government. Additionally, applicants should be under the age of 62 as of the date of the public notice. Those who have already applied in response to the advertisements dated 26.11.2024 and 14.12.2024 need not reapply.

Interested candidates are required to submit their complete bio-data, along with an undertaking, to the office of the Secretary, Personnel, Government of Punjab (PP-3 Branch), Room No. 14, 6th floor, Punjab Civil Secretariat, Sector 1, Chandigarh. The last date for submission is 5:00 PM on January 15, 2025. A Search Committee, chaired by the Chief Secretary, will shortlist eligible candidates, whose names will then be reviewed by the High-Powered Committee, headed by the Chief Minister of Punjab.
