Muktsar Police Arrest Two Lawrence Gang Members, Seize Three Foreign Pistols and 20 Cartridges

Muktsar (The Uttam Hindu): Muktsar police have arrested two associates of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, recovering three foreign-made pistols, 20 cartridges, two magazines and a mobile phone from them. The arrested individuals, Avtar Singh (21) from Kotli Road, lane number 9, Muktsar, and Ravi Kumar (25) from Gandhi Nagar lane number 2, were stopped for a routine check on Ferozepur Road. During the search, one youth was found with a Glock 9mm pistol and 10 cartridges, while the other had two pistols, 10 cartridges, and a mobile phone in his bag. The recovered firearms include Austrian-made Glock 9mm and Chinese PX5 Storm and PX3 model pistols.

SSP Akhil Chaudhary reported that the police action followed a stop-and-search operation. A case has been registered against the accused under the Arms Act at the Sadar Muktsar police station. Preliminary investigations revealed that Avtar Singh has two prior cases filed against him under the NDPS Act and for assault. Further investigations are ongoing, and the police have secured remand from the court for continued questioning.
