Ajnala Police Station Attack: Young Men Linked to Waris Punjab De Arrested in Faridkot

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A major manhunt has been initiated by the Punjab Police in connection with the attack on the Ajnala police station, following the transfer of seven associates of MP Amritpal Singh from Dibrugarh jail to Punjab. Among those arrested is Amandeep Singh Amna, a prominent figure linked to the Waris Punjab De organization, which gained attention during the time of the late Deep Sidhu.
Amandeep, a resident of Panjgarai Kalan in Faridkot, has been an active member of the organization and is suspected of being involved in the violent assault on the Ajnala police station. On the heels of the arrest, the police raided his residence in Panjgarai Kalan and took him into custody for further questioning.
Authorities are intensifying efforts to connect the dots between the suspects and the attack, which shook the region. The operation to track down additional individuals linked to the case continues, with the police vowing to bring all those responsible to justice. The involvement of Amritpal Singh’s associates in the incident has further fueled tensions in the region, and security has been beefed up as investigations progress.
