Major Breakthrough: Amritsar Police Busts Narco-Terror Module Linked to BKI

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): In a significant development, the Commissionerate Police Amritsar has dismantled a narco-terror module tied to the banned Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). The breakthrough came when three key operatives were arrested while attempting to flee to Nepal. The arrests took place in an intelligence-based operation in PS Kumarkhand, Madhepura, Bihar.
The accused had already delivered grenades and weapons, which were recovered during a recent operation. The three individuals hail from the Khandwala and Chheharta areas of Amritsar and are now being brought back for further interrogation.
The Punjab Police has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the security of the state, as it continues to crack down on criminal and terror networks.
