Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): After conducting the Khalistan referendum in countries such as the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and Europe, terrorist organization Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) led by Gurpatwant Pannu has become active in India. A post was shared on the social media platform X through an account named SFJ Team which included a QR code for voting in the referendum. The post also outlined the process for registration on their website. The organization created forms allowing both Sikhs and people of other faiths to vote. However, 10 hours after the post was shared, the account was banned in India. Despite this, the QR code and the post went viral on social media. There was no mention of a specific voting date in the post.

The post stated that Sikhs living outside Punjab in any other state of India could scan the given QR code or visit www.sikhs4khalistan.net to register for voting. Upon scanning the QR code, a page appeared indicating voting locations in Kashmir and Kanyakumari. The page also encouraged registration for the Sikh Independence Referendum vote. It was specified that voters must be over 18 years old. Sikhs were asked to register by providing their phone number, name and home address through the provided link.

SFJ created two types of forms

To conduct the referendum in India, SFJ created two types of forms. One form allowed individuals of any religion to vote in the referendum while the other form was specifically for Sikhs living outside Punjab. The forms also asked for information about the voter’s relatives. The address of SFJ's office in the USA was listed on each form.
