Kewal Singh Dhillon pays obeisance at Ayodhya’s Shri Ram temple on Diwali, prays for Barnala’s and Punjab's prosperity
Barnala (The Uttam Hindu): On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, BJP candidate for the Barnala Vidhan Sabha by-election and former MLA, Kewal Singh Dhillon, visited the revered Sri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram. Dhillon prostrated himself in the temple and offered prayers to Lord Ram, seeking the welfare of the universe.
Dhillon expressed, "Today, on the holy day of Diwali, it feels truly blessed and auspicious to bow down at Sri Ram Mandir. This is a sacred place, deeply tied to our beliefs, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be here." He added that on this day, Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya after his exile, making it particularly meaningful to pay obeisance and receive divine blessings.
Dhillon shared that he prayed to Ram Lalla ji to continue bestowing blessings upon the people of Barnala, Punjab, and the entire country, bringing happiness to every home. "Seeing God has brought immense peace to my mind," he said.
