Justice Served: Punjab Police Nab Two Suspects in Grenade Attack on Ex-Minister's Residence

Jalandhar (The Uttam Hindu ) : Police has got a big success in the case of grenade attack on BJP leader Manoranjan Kalia's house. According to the information, police has detained three suspects including the main accused in this case. Police sources said that the mastermind of this attack is Zeeshan Akhtar, who is a close associate of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Zeeshan is already wanted in the Baba Siddique murder case and his activities were already being monitored. The three suspects detained by the police are residents of Gadha and Bhargava Camp area of ​​Jalandhar.

However, no official statement has been shared by the police regarding this. It is being told that this attack was a cross border planned attack, which was aimed at disturbing the religious harmony in Punjab. Along with this, the police is also investigating the relationship of Pakistan based Khalistani terrorist Harvinder Singh alias Rinda and gangster Happy Pasia with this attack. Initial investigation has revealed that instructions and cooperation were received from across the India-Pakistan border to carry out the attack.BJP national executive member Kalia was at home at the time of the blast but was unharmed. Police are investigating CCTV footage.
