Govt to Stop Providing Free Facilities to Arrested Drug Smugglers

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Drug smugglers and suppliers arrested during police operations will no longer be eligible for free government services and facilities, according to a decision made by DIG Rupnagar Range Harcharan Singh Bhullar. This move follows a meeting with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, and the proposal will be presented to the Punjab government for approval.

It is important to note that the Punjab Police has already initiated a special campaign targeting drug smugglers, during which their illegal properties are being demolished.
