ED Conducts Raid at Bhupesh Baghel's Son's Residence

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has raided the house of Chaitanya, the son of former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel. The raid took place at Chaitanya's residence in Bhilai, with search operations being conducted at approximately 14 locations across Chhattisgarh. ED teams arrived this morning and began searching for documents, with local police also stationed outside the house.

This action is believed to be connected to the ongoing investigation into the Rs 2161 crore liquor scam. The ED is probing cases of financial irregularities and money laundering, which are suspected to be linked to the liquor scam. Investigations are still underway.
