Double Murder in Jalandhar: Two Friends Shot While Asleep, Accused Flees

Jalandhar (The Uttam Hindu): In Jalandhar, a double murder has caused a stir after two young men were shot dead while sleeping at their friend's house near Lamma Pind Chowk. The victims have been identified as Shiv from Mota Singh Nagar and Vinay Tiwari from Basti Sheikh. According to the police, a man named Manna from Mithapur attacked the two youths and shot them. The accused, Manna has been absconding since the incident.

The police from Rama Mandi Police Station arrived at the scene immediately and initiated an investigation. The Forensic Science Lab (FSL) team also gathered evidence related to the crime. According to the police, both victims were wanted in a case registered at Division Number-6 police station, suggesting that the murder may be related to an old rivalry.

To expedite the investigation, the Rama Mandi Police along with a team from Jalandhar CIA Staff are on-site. Multiple teams have been conducting raids to capture the fugitive Manna but he remains at large. Local authorities have urged the public to inform the police if they have any information about Manna’s whereabouts so that the accused can be apprehended and justice can be served.
