CIA Staff in Punjab Engages in Shootout with Criminals Two Arrested

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A dramatic encounter unfolded when CIA staff in Jaito signaled a black Scorpio car (HR 7 AE 1020) from Bathinda to stop near the drain of village Chandbhan. In response, the occupants of the car opened fire on the police, prompting the officers to retaliate. The vehicle swerved to one side, and two individuals, Surinder Singh alias Gagni and Lakhwinder Singh alias Lakhu both residents of Ambedkar Nagar Jaito were apprehended.
During the exchange of gunfire, Surinder Singh alias Gagni was injured by a bullet in his leg. Both men were arrested and taken into custody. On receiving news of the incident, senior officials, including SSP Faridkot Madam Pragya Jain, Jasmeet Singh SP (D) Faridkot, DSP of Jaito Sukhdeep Singh, and SHO Gurvinder Singh, arrived at the scene.
SSP Faridkot Madam Pragya Jain confirmed that a 32-bore weapon and two live cartridges were recovered from the suspects. The arrested individuals are believed to be associates of the notorious Jaggu Bhagwanpuria and Lawrence Bishnoi gangs.
