Amristsar (The Uttam Hindu): A major disturbance occurred at Sri Guru Ramdas Ji International Airport in Punjab on Saturday night. Passengers aboard Air India Express flight IX-191, which was scheduled to depart from Amritsar to Dubai at 7 pm, were left stranded for several hours before the flight was ultimately cancelled at midnight. Passengers had been waiting for over six hours in the plane before being informed about the cancellation.

The passengers, who had arrived at the airport on time and had checked in promptly, were seated in the aircraft by 6 pm. Despite this, the flight failed to take off, causing frustration among the travelers. Around 9 pm, passengers began protesting, demanding answers. Initially, the airline assured passengers that the flight would take off soon, but later they were told it had been canceled without providing any explanation. The airline did not clarify the reasons behind the cancellation, leaving passengers upset and angry.
