Big Breaking: Gurpatwant Pannu Issues Bold Threat to Punjab CM Ahead of Republic Day
Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): In light of Republic Day, Punjab Police and agencies have issued a high alert. Meanwhile, Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, the leader of Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) and a Khalistani terrorist, has threatened Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. Pannu released a video stating that anyone who opposes him will face the same fate as former Chief Minister Beant Singh.
Pannu claimed that he had written Khalistani slogans at Faridkot Railway Station and Nehru Stadium, where Bhagwant Mann is expected to hoist the national flag on January 26th. He further instructed Sikh youth not to tie bombs around their waists or hold the Indian flag, but instead to carry only the Khalistani flag. He also stated that with the arrival of Donald Trump's government in the United States, significant changes are underway. According to Pannu, Punjab is no longer a part of India.
Pannu urged the youth and farmers protesting at the Punjab-Haryana border to raise Khalistani flags at the District Collector offices in cities such as Amritsar, Gurdaspur, and Jalandhar, to send a direct message to Donald Trump. He further stated that Khalistani flags would also be raised at U.S. embassies in Washington D.C., San Francisco, and other international locations, including in Canada (Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver), the UK, Italy, Australia, and New Zealand.
Through this act, Pannu intends to send a message to local governments, particularly U.S. President Donald Trump, that there is a significant religious and political divide between Sikhs and the Indian government.
