Abohar Murder: Man Killed with Sharp Weapons, Body Dumped in Fields

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A tragic incident unfolded on Friday night in Abohar, where Khushal Chand (35), a mechanic from Malukpur, was found brutally murdered. The father of a child, Khushal had closed his shop near the Abohar bus stand at around 9 pm and left for home. However, when he didn’t return by 10 pm, his family grew concerned and began searching for him.
Around midnight, they discovered his body in the fields near a canal passing through the village, lying in a bloody condition. The police were immediately alerted, and officers, including Station In-Charge Sunil Kumar and DSP Sukhwinder Singh, rushed to the scene to begin the investigation. The murder appears to have been committed using sharp weapons.
The police have detained several individuals for questioning but have yet to identify the killers. On Saturday morning, SPD Balkar Singh, along with forensic teams, visited the site for a detailed examination. The body has since been sent to the hospital mortuary for post-mortem.
As the investigation continues, the police are working to piece together the circumstances surrounding Khushal Chand’s death, while his family remains in shock over the brutal murder. The authorities have assured the public that every effort will be made to bring the culprits to justice.
