4 Killed, 9 Injured in Collision Between Tourist Bus and Tractor-Trolley in Jalandhar

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Four people lost their lives and nine others were seriously injured in a tragic road accident in Jalandhar on Monday morning. The accident occurred when a tourist bus collided with a tractor-trolley loaded with bricks. The bus driver is also among the dead.
According to the police, the bus of Ashok Bus Service was going from Delhi to Jammu and Kashmir with passengers. When the bus reached near Bhogpur, suddenly a tractor trolley came on the road. The bus coming behind collided with the tractor trolley.
The deceased have been identified as Sukhwant Singh, a resident of Reasi, Jammu, Kuldeep Singh, a resident of Uttam Nagar, Delhi, Varinder Pal Singh, a resident of Machhiwara Sahib and Satwinder Singh, a resident of Jammu. At present, the police is investigating the matter.
The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem and the police are in the process of informing the families of the deceased and the injured. The police are taking further action in the case.
