Major Overnight Action Against Gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria Held in Bathinda Jail

Bathinda (The Uttam Hindu): Big news has emerged regarding Punjab's notorious gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria. Reports suggest that Jaggu Bhagwanpuria was moved from Bathinda jail to an Assam jail last night. The transfer took place in stages, with him first being shifted from Bathinda to Chandigarh and then flown to Assam. This action was taken by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

The NCB's strict move is seen as a major blow to the gang warfare and drug network in Punjab. Sources indicate that other prominent criminals may also be transferred to Assam jail in the future. It is important to note that Jaggu Bhagwanpuria is facing 128 cases, including 13 cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
