iQOO Z10 to Launch in India on April 11 with Massive 7300mAh Battery

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): iQOO is set to launch the iQOO Z10 smartphone in India on April 11, marking the introduction of what the company claims will be the largest battery ever packed into a smartphone for the Indian market. iQOO CEO, Nipun Marya, confirmed in a post on X that the device will feature a massive 7300mAh battery.
According to GizmoChina, iQOO is also expected to unveil the Z10 and Z10 Turbo smartphones in China next month. With the launch timelines in both markets so close, there's a strong possibility that the Indian version of the iQOO Z10 will be a rebranded version of its Chinese counterpart, possibly with some modifications.
Though iQOO has not officially confirmed the full specifications, a report from Smartprix has revealed key details about the upcoming smartphone. The Z10 5G is expected to feature a 6.67-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 2400 x 1080 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is also rumored to reach a peak brightness of 2,000 nits.
Under the hood, the Z10 5G is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, with options for 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. On the camera front, it is expected to come with a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with OIS, similar to the iQOO Neo 10R, along with a 2MP secondary sensor. For selfies, the front camera is said to feature a 32MP sensor.
The phone will be equipped with a 7300mAh battery, supporting 90W wired fast charging, and it will run on Funtouch OS based on Android 15. As for pricing, while no official price has been announced, reports suggest it could fall in the Rs 20,000 - Rs 30,000 range, which is higher than the launch price of last year's iQOO Z9 5G, which started at Rs 19,999 for the base model.
With a large battery, fast charging, and a host of high-end features, the iQOO Z10 is expected to be a strong contender in the mid-range smartphone market in India.
