Muskara (The Uttam Hindu): A shocking incident occurred in the town of Muskara, Uttar Pradesh, where a woman allegedly stabbed her husband to death with a knife. The incident, which took place around 2 PM on Monday in the Moti Nagar area, has left the local community in shock.
Anita Raikwar, the accused, reportedly attacked her husband, Arvind Raikwar, with a large vegetable-cutting knife, delivering five swift blows, which resulted in his death at the scene.
Following the incident, Anita called her elder son, Dinesh, who was at the market, and told him she was feeling unwell. Upon returning home, Dinesh found his father lying in a pool of blood with his mother sitting nearby. In her initial statement to the police, Anita claimed that unknown individuals had broken into their home and attacked them. However, after further investigation, Anita confessed to the crime, admitting she had killed her husband. The police have arrested her and are continuing their investigation.
Anita reportedly showed no remorse for her actions. In her statement, she explained that her husband was an alcoholic and a gambler, which led to frequent conflicts between them. She further revealed that she had warned her husband about 15 days earlier that she would kill him if he did not change his ways.

On Tuesday, sitting at the police station, Anita showed no signs of distress. She sat confidently in her chair and clearly stated that she felt no sorrow over her husband's murder. She explained that her husband was an alcoholic and was ruining their home through gambling, which frequently led to conflicts between them.
About 15 days prior, there had been a significant argument between the couple near the town's bus stand, where Anita had warned her husband that if he did not change, she would kill him, a threat she ultimately acted upon. Anita shared that her husband had been arguing with her consistently since a year into their marriage. On the day of the incident, he returned home after drinking and began to assault her. During the struggle, he attempted to stab her with a knife, resulting in a minor injury to her hand. In retaliation, she grabbed the same knife and attacked him.
Anita stated openly that she felt she had to kill her husband to ensure a secure future for her children. Regarding this case, Station Officer Yogesh Tiwari mentioned that the woman has been sent to jail.
