UP Witnesses Brutality Beyond Limits: Acid Used to Erase 'Om' Tattoo, Forced to Eat Beef; Minor Raped for Two Months

Uttar Pardesh (The Uttam Hindu) : In Bhagatpur area, a teenage girl was kidnapped and held hostage for two months. Four accused gang-raped the girl for two months after giving her intoxicants. The audacity did not stop here, she was forcibly fed beef. The tattoo of 'Om' on her hand was erased by pouring acid on it. After two months, the girl somehow reached home in a distraught state. Then the family members lodged an FIR against the four accused. So far only one has been arrested.
Teenager kept hostage for two months According to the aunt of the girl, who lives in a village in the area, the girl had gone to a tailor's shop to get her clothes stitched on January 2. On the way, four young men from the Muslim community of the village kidnapped her in a car. They took her to an unknown place, gave her intoxicants and then all four of them gang-raped her. The teenager was kept hungry for several days After this, the tattoo of 'Om' on the hand of the teenager was erased by pouring acid on it. The niece remained hungry for several days. When she asked for food, she was given beef. When the teenager refused to eat beef, it was forcibly stuffed in her mouth. The niece endured the brutality of four brutes for two months.
On March 2, the four accused left to take her to another place. Then the niece ran away from there and reached home. Even at that time she was in a distraught state. She informed about the whole matter. On the basis of the complaint letter of the girl's aunt, the police registered an FIR against Salman, Zubair, Rashid and Arif of the same village and arrested Salman and sent him to jail. The accused also threatened to kidnap the girl's aunt
When the four accused kidnapped the girl and took her to an unknown place, they threatened her that if she told anyone about this at home, they would kidnap her aunt too. They threatened to kill the girl's brother. Tears are rolling down her eyes as she recalls how the two months passed for the girl. SP Rural Kunwar Akash Singh said that an FIR has been lodged against the four accused and one has been arrested. The search is on for the other accused. Strict action will be taken against all of them.
