New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): New Delhi – As Delhi heads to the polls, Chief Minister Atishi has made a passionate appeal to the people of Delhi to cast their votes, emphasizing the importance of today's elections. Speaking on 'X' on Wednesday, Atishi described the election as more than just a political event; she called it a "religious war," a battle between good and evil, work and hooliganism. She urged voters to support progress and truth, saying, "Vote for work, vote for goodness. Truth will prevail."

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convener Arvind Kejriwal also appealed to Delhiites, stressing the significance of their votes. He likened a vote to the foundation of a brighter future for children, promising improvements in education, healthcare and the overall quality of life for every family. Kejriwal called on voters to reject the politics of lies, hatred and fear, and to embrace development, truth and honesty. He encouraged people to vote and inspire their families, friends, and neighbors, declaring that "hooliganism will lose Delhi will win."

Meanwhile, AAP leader Manish Sisodia emphasized the democratic right and responsibility of every citizen to vote, urging enthusiastic participation in this "great festival of democracy." He called each vote a contribution to a better future for Delhi’s children and the city’s overall progress.

As the day of voting unfolds the leaders of the AAP have united in their call for a fair and hopeful future urging voters to make their voices heard at the ballot box.
