Transgender Protestors Block Traffic, Demand Justice for Murdered Community Member

Ghazipur (Uttam Hindu News): The transgender community in Ghazipur staged a massive protest on Monday following the murder of one of their own. On Sunday, Harsh Upadhyay, also known as Ganga, was shot dead while shopping at a store in Nandganj. In response to the incident, community members gathered in Nandganj market, where they vandalized shops, forced businesses to close, and blocked traffic on the four-lane road.
Kaushilya Nand Giri, also known as Tina Maa, the Mahamandaleshwar of the Kinnar Akhada in Prayagraj, arrived at the scene and issued an ultimatum to the police, demanding that the murderers be arrested within ten days.
