New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A horrific incident occurred in Tamil Nadu where a four-month pregnant woman was raped by two men on a moving train from Coimbatore to Tirupati. The victim who was traveling to her hometown Chittor was attacked in the females-only compartment near Vellore district. When she screamed for help one of the assailants brutally pushed her off the train leaving her with multiple fractures in her hands and legs. Fortunately she was rescued by a passerby and rushed to the Vellore Government Hospital.

In a separate incident a 13-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped by three of her teachers in a government school washroom in Krishnagiri district. The teachers, aged between 37 and 47 reportedly took turns to rape the minor girl. The incident came to light after the school headmaster visited the girl's house and her parents reported that she had been experiencing acute abdomen pain. Following the parents' confession a case has been registered and an investigation has been launched. The victim is undergoing a medical checkup and the teachers have been suspended and arrested.
