'Thank You Pakistan'… Mohammad Naushad, who expressed happiness over Pahalgam attack, arrested

Bokaro (The Uttam Hindu): While the entire country is mourning the death of 28 people in the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, a shocking incident has come to light from Bokaro district of Jharkhand. A resident here had posted an objectionable post on social media expressing happiness over this attack. The police took immediate action and arrested the accused Mohammad Naushad.

According to the information received, the accused is Mohammad Naushad, a resident of Millat Nagar of Balidih police station area. He shared a post on social media, in which he thanked Pakistan and terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba for this attack. His post read, Thank you Pakistan, Thank you Lashkar-e-Taiba. May Allah give you a long life. Amen, Amen. We will be happier if you target BJP, RSS, Bajrang Dal and the media. Now where have RSS, BJP and Bajrang Dal gone, go to the border and show your jumping and dancing.

Police station in-charge Naveen Kumar has confirmed the arrest of Mohammad Naushad. He said, "We had received a complaint against Mohammad Naushad. On the basis of the complaint, he has been arrested. Further legal action is underway in the case." The police is questioning the arrested Naushad thoroughly and his social media accounts are also being investigated to gather complete information. His father's name is said to be Mohammad Mustaq. It is noteworthy that 28 people were killed and many others were injured in a terrorist attack on Tuesday in Baisaran Valley, a tourist spot near Pahalgam city of Jammu and Kashmir.

Reacting to this arrest, senior BJP MLA CP Singh expressed satisfaction. He said that he had written about this matter on social media last night and had spoken to the SP of Bokaro. Terming such people as 'snake in the grass', MLA CP Singh said that taking strict action against such anti-national elements is in the interest of the country. He feared that many such people in the country are working like 'sleeper cells' and this is a threat to the security of the country. He also demanded action against those who give shelter to such people.
