Terror Safe Havens Flattened: Lashkar, Jaish Operatives Lose Ground in J&K

Srinagar (The Uttam Hindu): After the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, security forces have intensified operations against terrorists. Homes of terrorists have been demolished in Pulwama, Shopian, and Kulgam.
In Chotipora, Shopian, the house of active Lashkar commander Shahid Ahmed Kutte was demolished. Shahid had been involved in several anti-national activities over the past three to four years. Similarly, in Qaimoh, Kulgam, the house of terrorist Zakir Gani was also razed; he was associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba in 2023. So far, houses of a total of five terrorists have been demolished.
Earlier in Pulwama, the army demolished the house of Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist Ehsan-ul-Haq. Ehsan received training in Pakistan in 2018 and had recently become active in the valley. He is the main suspect in the Pahalgam attack. In addition, homes of suspected terrorists were also demolished in Bijbehara (Anantnag) and Gori area of Tral. In Guri village of South Kashmir, the house of terrorist Adil was blown up with explosives after suspicious items were found during a search operation.
