Bihar (The Uttam Hindu) : In a shocking and mysterious incident, a senior Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer and his sister, a topper in the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) exam, were found hanging in their residence in Patna, Bihar. The deceased have been identified as 35-year-old IRS officer, Rajiv Kumar and his 32-year-old sister, Nupur Kumari. The police received a call from the family's neighbor, who reported that the siblings were found hanging in their home.

According to the police, the siblings' bodies were discovered by their mother, who had returned home from a morning walk. The mother, who is said to be in a state of shock, has been hospitalized. The police have launched an investigation into the incident and are examining the circumstances surrounding the deaths. "We are investigating the case from all angles, including murder and suicide," said Patna Superintendent of Police, Vikas Vaibhav.
