Railway's Holi Gift: Special Trains for Festive Travelers

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu) : In a major relief to passengers traveling during the Holi festival, the Indian Railways has announced the operation of special trains from Delhi to various destinations in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The special trains, which will run from March 5 to March 12, will provide additional capacity to cater to the increased demand during the festive season.
Special Trains Details
According to the railway officials, the following special trains will be operated:
- Train No. 04012/04011 Delhi-Varanasi-Delhi Special Train (via Lucknow)
- Train No. 04014/04013 Delhi-Patna-Delhi Special Train (via Allahabad)
- Train No. 04016/04015 Delhi-Gorakhpur-Delhi Special Train (via Kanpur)
- Train No. 04018/04017 Delhi-Muzaffarpur-Delhi Special Train (via Siwan)
These trains will have stoppages at major stations, including Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Tundla, and Kanpur.
Booking Details
Booking for these special trains will start from February 28, and passengers can book their tickets online through the IRCTC website or through the railway reservation counters.
