Petrol & Diesel prices updated! check the 10 cities with the cheapest fuel

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Crude oil prices have once again surged past $76 per barrel, yet oil marketing companies have kept petrol and diesel rates unchanged as of 6 AM today, Thursday, February 20. The lowest fuel prices in the country continue to be in Port Blair, where petrol is priced at ₹82.46 per liter and diesel at ₹78.05 per litre. In the national capital, Delhi, petrol remains stable at ₹94.77 per liter, while diesel is priced at ₹87.67 per liter.
According to Bloomberg, Brent crude's April futures increased by 0.47% to $76.04 per barrel, while WTI's March futures saw a slight decline of 0.07% to $72.18 per barrel. Despite these fluctuations, domestic fuel rates have remained steady. Several cities across India continue to offer the lowest fuel prices, with Itanagar (₹90.87/litre), Silvassa (₹92.37/litre), Daman (₹92.55/litre), and Haridwar (₹92.78/litre) being among the most affordable locations for petrol. Similarly, for diesel, cities like Itanagar (₹80.38/litre), Jammu (₹81.32/litre), Samba (₹81.58/litre), and Chandigarh (₹82.44/litre) offer lower rates compared to other regions.
Even though international crude oil prices have been volatile, domestic fuel rates have remained unchanged, providing temporary relief to consumers. However, with global markets constantly shifting, future pricing trends may see adjustments.
