New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Noida traffic authorities have issued an advisory in light of the upcoming four-day textile event, Bharat Tex-2025 set to begin on Wednesday February 12 at the Expo Centre in Knowledge Park 2 Greater Noida. The event which is expected to attract around 5,000 participants will take place from February 12 to February 15, 2025. The advisory from the Traffic Police Gautam Budh Nagar informed the public that traffic will be managed normally during the event. However, if there is significant traffic congestion at the Expomart Golchakkar (roundabout) it may be closed and traffic will be diverted accordingly.
Vehicles traveling from Galgotia Cut to IFS Villa Golchakkar via Expomart Golchakkar will be redirected through Bada Golchakkar Sharda Golchakkar, LG Golchakkar, Jagatfarm or the 130-meter road. Participants attending the event can park their vehicles inside the NASA roundabout and proceed to the venue. The traffic police also assured that emergency vehicles will be given priority during the traffic diversions and urged drivers to use alternate routes to avoid inconvenience.
As the event draws near the authorities have emphasized the importance of following traffic guidelines to ensure smooth access to the event while minimizing disruptions to daily commuters. This is a crucial reminder of the need to plan ahead when attending major events in the area. With large-scale events like Bharat Tex-2025 the coordination of traffic management will be key in maintaining order ensuring safety and allowing participants to enjoy the event without unnecessary delays. Such preparations highlights the delicate balance between facilitating large gatherings and managing urban infrastructure effectively.
