Fatal Crash in Delhi: Three Killed as Truck Rams into Bus in Vasant Kunj

New Delhi(The Uttam Hindu): In a tragic incident, three people, two of whom were women, were killed when a speeding truck collided with a bus in the Vasant Kunj area of southwest Delhi early on Monday morning.

Police said the accident occurred around 4:45 am near Lohmod Hotel. The victims were identified as Abhishek (19), Nidhi (19), and Kanta Devi (50). According to police, the three were unloading luggage from the bus when the truck ran into them. One person was injured in the incident.

The truck driver, identified as Taufiq (25) from Alwar, Rajasthan, was trapped in the driver's seat and later rescued. Police have launched an investigation into the incident, and the bodies have been sent to Safdarjung Hospital for postmortem.
