ED Raids Ex-Rajasthan Minister's House in ₹2,850 Crore PACL Scam Probe

Jaipur (The Uttam Hindu): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided the residence of former minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas in the Rs 2,850 crore PACL scam. In this case, ED is investigating the role of Congress leader Pratap Singh Khachariyawas. PACL had defrauded around 5.85 crore investors across the country. SEBI had taken action against the company in 2014. When the matter reached the Supreme Court, a committee was formed in 2016 with the aim of recovering assets worth Rs 1.86 lakh crore and returning the money to the investors. Now ED has taken action in this matter.

On the other hand, on the raid, the Congress leader said that ED has come here to search and raid. I am cooperating with them. ED is doing its work and I will do mine. I believe that BJP should not do politics by using ED. Pratap Singh Khachariyawas is not afraid of anyone. I know how to treat these governments.

Pratap Singh further said that the BJP government should listen carefully. Send ED and Income Tax anything. It will not make any difference to me. Corrupt people should be afraid. I will not be afraid. He said that I was not given any notice by ED. ED directly raided here. I consider this wrong. Pratap Singh also said that there is no chit fund case against me. This is wrong.

Pratap Singh Khachariyawas said that governments keep changing... this time will also change. Imagine what will happen to BJP when Rahul Gandhi comes to power. You (BJP) have started this action. We will also do the same against BJP people. They can conduct as many searches as they want. We are not afraid. We will cooperate with the officials.
