The newlywed couple had gone to Goa for their honeymoon, but a severe argument led to the bride’s decision to leave her husband and fly back. Upon her return, she immediately approached the police and registered a case under various sections, including assault and dowry harassment. According to her complaint, the bride, a resident of the Sadar Kotwali area, was married to Ratnesh Gupta, a resident of the Nichlaul area, following Hindu customs.
