New Delhi(The Uttam Hindu):On Sunday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders gathered for a crucial meeting in the national capital to discuss preparations for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. The meeting was attended by Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva along with other prominent party leaders. The Delhi Assembly elections are expected to take place in early 2025, though the Election Commission has yet to announce the exact dates.

Earlier, on November 21, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) released its first list of 11 candidates for the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections. The list includes nominees for several constituencies such as Chhatarpur, Kirdani, Vishwas Nagar, Rohtash Nagar, Laxmi Nagar, Badarpur, Seelampur, Seemapuri, Ghonda, Karawal Nagar, and Matiala. The candidates announced by AAP are:

Chhatarpur: Brahm Singh Tanwar

Kirdani: Anil Jha

Vishwas Nagar: Deepak Singla

Rohtash Nagar: Sarita Singh

Laxmi Nagar: BB Tyagi

Badarpur: Ram Singh Nehru

Seelampur: Chaudhary Zubair Ahmed

Seemapuri: Singh Dhingan

Ghonda: Gaurav Sharma

Karawal Nagar: Manoj Tyagi

Matiala: Sumesha Shokeen

The BJP's recent meeting was a part of their preparations as the party gears up for the elections in 2025.
